10 Facts About Me You Might Not Know

I consider myself a salesman and as one I suffer greatly from not being able to talk about me all the time. I talk about my clients, the benefits of my services and products to them but not a word about me.

Couple days ago, Mark Bell, a friend of mine and a fellow blogger posted an article revealing some facts about himself, few of my fellow blog pack friends have follwed and I also decided that I will talk about myself once for a change

So here they are, 10 things you probably don’t know about me.

• I learnt to play doublebass and studied classical composition although I never obtained an academic qualification. I worked as a musician for 11 years. I also released 12 albums, two with my band and 10 as a solo artist. I stopped performing live in 2004 and left music altogether in 2009. I have a discogs page and my band has its own myspace fan page.
• I published two books of poetry inspired by Ezra Pound.
• My favorite writer is Dylan Thomas and his Under Milk Wood is a book that always gets me through tough times
• I studied philosophy at the University of Gdansk, Poland. I completed a 5 year course but I left Poland before writing my thesis. I doubt I will ever go back to finish it.

• When I was 9 I broke my left arm so badly that I nearly lost it.
• I was once homeless here in Ireland and straight after that I got a job as a civil servant. That only proved my theory that any gimp from the street can work for the government here.
• I grew up in Poland in the city of Gdansk, famous for its shipyard, Lech Walesa, Solidarity and many political changes that led to abolishing communism in Poland. I witnessed it all as a kid and have met mr. Walesa a few times.
• Many people ask me that because I live in Ireland and I decided to answer this in public once and for all.  Yes, I have met Bono on the streets of Dublin on few occasions and I used to party with some of the Virgin Prunes guys too.
• As kids, together with my best mate we used to steal sirens from police cars and built up a huge collection of them. We never got caught.
• In the summer of this year I left my company to focus on new business venture I will be launching later this year.
